Drone Company
Lookout Visual is a Chattanooga-based drone videography and cinematic production company that captures aerial and ground-level footage for businesses, property owners, and organizations across Dayton and Southeast Tennessee.
Dayton, TN
Dayton, Tennessee sits at the edge of the Tennessee River valley, where open terrain, rolling ridgelines, and active development create strong conditions for aerial and cinematic production work. Lookout Visual coordinates drone and ground camera operations across Dayton, Spring City, Sale Creek, Cleveland, and the surrounding region. Whether the project is a commercial property listing, a construction progress record, or a brand video, we build the visual frame around the blueprint our clients bring to the table.
A Lookout Visual engagement covers pre-flight planning, licensed aerial capture, ground-level cinematic footage, post-production editing, and final file delivery. Every project is scoped in advance so the client knows exactly what will be captured and in what format. We do not deliver raw files and call it done — edited, color-graded deliverables are standard. The client receives footage that is ready to publish, present, or archive.
All drone operations are conducted by FAA Part 107 safety-certified pilots. We fly camera systems capable of capturing 4K and 6K resolution footage, giving clients the detail needed for large-format display, print, and digital platforms. Ground-level production runs parallel to aerial capture using cinema-grade cameras and stabilization rigs. The combination of aerial and ground footage allows us to assemble a complete visual record of a property, site, or event.
Before any flight, we coordinate airspace authorization, review site conditions, and confirm the shot list with the client. On capture day, we frame and record both aerial and ground footage according to the approved plan. Post-production includes editing, color grading, and audio work where applicable. Final files are delivered digitally within the agreed turnaround window, formatted for the platforms the client specifies.
Lookout Visual works with real estate agents and brokers who need property listings elevated with aerial photography and walkthrough video. We also serve general contractors and developers who need construction progress documentation captured at regular intervals. Local businesses and event organizers in Dayton and Rhea County use our cinematic production services to produce brand content and event coverage. Any organization that needs a precise, professional visual record of a place or project is a fit for what we do.
Knowing the terrain around Dayton — the river corridors, the ridge elevations, the industrial and residential development patterns — allows us to plan flights that produce usable footage rather than generic aerials. We understand where restricted airspace begins near regional infrastructure and how afternoon weather patterns move through the Tennessee River valley. Local familiarity shortens the planning phase and reduces the likelihood of conditions that require a reschedule. This region has a distinct visual character, and we know how to frame it.
Standard turnaround for edited aerial and cinematic video is five to seven business days from the capture date. Rush delivery within two to three business days is available for time-sensitive listings or project deadlines. Files are delivered via a private download link in the formats and resolutions specified during project scoping. Clients retain full rights to the delivered footage for their stated use.
Our primary service area covers Dayton and Rhea County, along with Spring City, Sale Creek, Cleveland, and the broader Southeast Tennessee region. We also travel throughout the Chattanooga metro area and can accommodate projects across East Tennessee with advance scheduling.
Yes. All pilots hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates, which is the federal license required for commercial drone operations. We coordinate airspace authorization through the FAA's LAANC system or manual waivers as required for each specific location before any flight takes place.
We monitor conditions in the days leading up to every shoot. If wind, precipitation, or visibility falls outside safe operating parameters on the scheduled day, we reschedule at no additional cost to the client. We do not fly in conditions that compromise footage quality or operational safety.
Standard delivery is five to seven business days from the date of capture. Rush turnaround of two to three business days is available upon request and may carry an additional fee depending on project scope. Delivery timelines are confirmed in writing before the project begins.
Pricing is based on project scope: the type of footage needed, the number of locations, the flight duration, and the level of post-production involved. We provide a fixed project quote after an initial discovery conversation, so clients know the total cost before any work begins. We do not charge hourly rates that expand unexpectedly.
You receive edited, color-graded video files delivered digitally in the resolutions and formats specified during scoping — typically MP4 files optimized for web, social, or MLS platforms. Still frames can be sourced from footage when included in the project scope. You retain full usage rights to all delivered files for the purposes outlined in your project agreement.
