Event Photographer
Lookout Visual is a Chattanooga-based event photography and drone videography company that travels to Nashville and Middle Tennessee to capture your event with precision, from the first handshake to the final applause.
Nashville, TN
Nashville hosts some of the region's most active corporate calendars, from conference centers along Broadway and Music Row to gala venues in Franklin and Murfreesboro. Lookout Visual coordinates full event coverage across Middle Tennessee, serving businesses, nonprofits, and private clients who need documented, well-framed visual records of their gatherings. Whether your event takes place at a downtown Nashville hotel, a Hendersonville waterfront property, or a Franklin meeting facility, our team arrives prepared with a clear shot list and a timeline matched to your program.
A standard engagement covers the full arc of your event: arrival and registration, candid crowd moments, directed group portraits, keynote or speaker coverage, award presentations, and closing receptions. Our photographers capture both the broad context of a room and the close details that give an event its character — signage, table settings, branded materials, and genuine interactions. Every booking includes a same-day highlight set of selects delivered within 24 hours, giving your communications team usable images while the event is still current. Full edited galleries follow according to the agreed delivery schedule.
Lookout Visual photographers shoot with professional full-frame and APS-C sensor systems chosen for reliable low-light performance in ballroom, conference, and mixed-lighting environments common across Nashville venues. We carry backup bodies and a range of prime and zoom lenses to ensure coverage is never dependent on a single piece of equipment. Where airspace and venue permissions allow, our FAA Part 107 safety-certified pilots can capture aerial stills of outdoor event spaces, providing venue context and exterior establishing shots that ground-level photography cannot frame. All aerial operations follow current FAA regulations and venue authorization requirements.
Every engagement begins with a planning call in which we source the key details: your schedule, venue layout, VIP attendees, branded priorities, and any restricted or sensitive areas. From that conversation we assemble a written shot list and a timeline synced to your run-of-show. On the day of the event, our team arrives early to scout light conditions and confirm logistics with your venue coordinator before guests arrive. After the event, we edit and deliver your gallery through a private online portal, along with high-resolution files sized for both print and digital use.
Lookout Visual serves corporate clients scheduling annual meetings, product launches, and team events; conference organizers managing multi-day programming at Nashville convention and hotel properties; nonprofits documenting galas, fundraisers, and community recognition events; and private clients hosting milestone celebrations that warrant professional documentation. We also work with real estate and property development firms that need event coverage tied to groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and grand openings across the Nashville metro. Each client holds the blueprint for what their event communicates; we build the visual frame around that intent.
Familiarity with a venue's light conditions, load-in logistics, and crowd flow patterns directly affects the quality and efficiency of coverage. Lookout Visual has worked across Middle Tennessee venues and understands the practical differences between a rooftop terrace in downtown Nashville at dusk, a windowless conference breakout room, and an outdoor pavilion in Franklin. That knowledge informs lens selection, positioning, and timing decisions made before the event begins, not during it. Clients in Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, and surrounding communities benefit from the same preparation and regional familiarity.
Same-day highlight selects — a curated set of edited images from the event — are delivered within 24 hours of coverage completion. Full gallery delivery is completed within five to seven business days for standard engagements, with expedited options available upon request. All images are delivered through a private, password-protected online gallery with high-resolution download access and clearly defined usage rights. Clients receive files suitable for web, social media, print, and internal communications without needing to request separate exports.
Yes. Lookout Visual is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and regularly travels to Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, and other Middle Tennessee locations. Travel to the Nashville metro is included within our standard service agreements; engagements outside that range are quoted individually.
Coverage hours are defined by your event's schedule, not a fixed package. Most corporate events and conferences book between four and eight hours of on-site coverage. We discuss your run-of-show during the planning call and confirm a coverage window that captures all priority moments without gaps.
A same-day highlight set of edited selects is delivered within 24 hours of your event. The complete edited gallery is delivered within five to seven business days. If you have a press or publication deadline that requires faster turnaround, let us know before the event and we will confirm whether an expedited schedule is available.
Pricing is based on coverage hours, team size, and any specialized services such as aerial photography. We provide a written quote following the initial discovery call, with all deliverables and terms stated clearly before any agreement is signed. We do not charge hidden post-production fees; editing and gallery delivery are included in the quoted price.
You receive access to a private online gallery containing your full edited image set, along with high-resolution file downloads. Usage rights for internal communications, marketing, social media, and print are included. Specific licensing terms — including any restrictions or extended commercial use — are stated in your project agreement.
Aerial coverage is available where FAA regulations and venue permissions allow. Our pilots hold FAA Part 107 certifications and coordinate all airspace authorizations in advance. Outdoor venues, groundbreakings, and large-footprint properties are good candidates for aerial stills. Indoor-only events or venues in restricted airspace are covered exclusively with ground-based photography.
Tell us about your project and we'll recommend the simplest path forward.
