Videographer
Lookout Visual is a Chattanooga-based drone and cinematic videography company that captures ground-level and aerial footage for real estate, construction, local businesses, and events across Southeast Tennessee.
Chattanooga, TN
Chattanooga and the surrounding region — from Signal Mountain to Ooltewah, Hixson to East Ridge — offer distinct landscapes, active development corridors, and a growing local business community that benefits from professional video. Lookout Visual works as your on-the-ground videography team, sourcing the right angles, coordinating shoots around your schedule, and delivering finished footage built around your project goals. Every engagement starts with your blueprint; we build the visual frame around it.
Lookout Visual provides drone videography, cinematic ground-level videography, and combined aerial-plus-ground productions for a single project. Services include property walkthroughs, construction progress documentation, event coverage, brand and marketing video, and social-media-ready short-form cuts. Each project is scoped to your deliverable list — no bundled extras you did not request.
All drone operations are conducted by an FAA Part 107 safety-certified pilot. Aerial footage is captured on sensors rated at 4K and 6K resolution, providing clean detail at standard delivery sizes and room to reframe in post. Ground cinematic work uses stabilized camera systems suitable for interior walkthroughs, wide exterior establishing shots, and event coverage. Both capture formats are color-graded to a consistent look across the final deliverable.
Every project begins with a pre-production call where we coordinate shot lists, locations, timing, and any access or permitting requirements specific to your site. On shoot day, the team arrives with equipment staged and a confirmed flight plan or ground coverage plan. Post-production includes color grading, audio sync where applicable, and assembly to your approved cut structure. Finished files are delivered digitally in your specified format and resolution.
Lookout Visual regularly works with real estate agents and brokers listing residential and commercial properties, construction companies documenting project milestones, event organizers covering corporate gatherings and community events, and local businesses building video assets for websites and marketing campaigns. We also work with property developers tracking site progress in Ooltewah, Hixson, Soddy Daisy, and other growth corridors around Chattanooga. If your project requires video, we can scope it.
Shooting in Chattanooga means accounting for ridge lines, river-adjacent flight zones near the Tennessee River, FAA-designated airspace near Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, and rapidly changing afternoon weather patterns common to the Tennessee Valley. Lookout Visual has pre-mapped the local airspace, knows which locations require advance coordination with the FAA or local authorities, and understands how light behaves across the area's varied terrain at different times of year. That local familiarity reduces delays and produces more consistent results than an out-of-market crew working from an unfamiliar location.
Standard turnaround for edited video deliverables is five to seven business days from the shoot date. Rush turnaround of two to three business days is available for time-sensitive listings or event recaps and is quoted at the time of booking. All finished files are delivered via a private download link in the agreed format, with resolution options sized for web, broadcast, or social platforms. Raw footage retention and licensing terms are outlined in the project agreement.
Lookout Visual is based in Chattanooga, TN and regularly serves the broader Hamilton County area including Hixson, Red Bank, Signal Mountain, Soddy Daisy, Ooltewah, and East Ridge. Projects in surrounding counties and neighboring areas of North Georgia and North Alabama are available and quoted on a per-project basis.
Yes. All drone operations are conducted by an FAA Part 107 safety-certified pilot. Before any flight, we assess the airspace classification of your location, coordinate any required LAANC authorizations or waivers for controlled airspace, and confirm that the shoot site meets FAA operational requirements. You do not need to manage the permitting process; we handle it as part of pre-production.
Drone and outdoor videography are weather-dependent. If conditions on shoot day — including high winds, precipitation, or low cloud cover — do not meet safe or quality thresholds, we reschedule at no additional cost to you. We monitor forecasts in the days leading up to the shoot and communicate early if a reschedule looks likely, so your schedule is disrupted as little as possible.
Standard edited deliverables are returned within five to seven business days of the shoot date. If your project has a tighter deadline — for example, a listing going live within 48 hours — rush turnaround is available and priced at booking. We confirm the exact delivery date in your project agreement so there are no surprises.
Projects are priced based on scope: the number of locations, estimated shoot time, deliverable formats, and any special requirements such as interior cinematic work alongside aerial footage. We do not publish flat-rate packages because project variables differ meaningfully between a single-property listing and a multi-day construction documentation engagement. A discovery session gives us enough information to provide a clear, itemized quote.
You receive the edited video files specified in your project agreement, delivered digitally via a private download link. Deliverables typically include a primary cut in your requested resolution and, if scoped, additional format cuts sized for social platforms or other uses. File formats, resolution, and aspect ratios are confirmed before the shoot. Raw footage and extended licensing terms are available and addressed in the project agreement.
